GMATS engineering laboratories offer the student hands-on training opportunities unparalleled in the industry. Extensive welding labs; machine-shops; refrigeration, diesel and steam propulsion shops and laboratories, provide a learning opportunity where the student can become familiar with equipment that is used in maritime and shoreside installations.

Where actual machinery is not practical, simulators are provided to expand learning opportunities. Instruction seeks to build knowledge and confidence in the student, preparing them for advancement.
