United States Fleet Forces Command has designated the Global Maritime and Transportation School (GMATS) as the primary provider of Naval Coordination and Guidance for Shipping (NCAGS) training. The procedures and policy used for NCAGS are changing and growing with changes in technology, international relationships, and the evolving concept of Maritime Domain Awareness. GMATS is focused on meeting the ever-changing training challenge. We are a NETC Non-Traditional Training Site and most of our courses are listed in the CANTRAC.

Mission

One of the top missions of the Global Maritime and Transportation School (GMATS) is to offer leading edge education and training programs that will benefit NCAGS personnel and help them develop the variety of skills needed to successfully develop and manage Maritime Domain Awareness.
